Tea Party

I know I said that I wanted to update on a fundraiser that I attended, but there's not much to share since I took no photos nor enjoyed myself very much there. I will have to say though that it was a very successful fundraising event. The room was filled with music & guests.

I attended a tea party on June 2, 2012 and it was a lot of fun. We had beautiful weather and everyone dressed up in gorgeous summer dresses. My aunt prepared tea, wine, scones, cookies, fruit-filled crossiants, and a variety of sandwiches. We also played games and I won a beautiful umbrella that actually went well with my outfit!

Cindy & I being silly. Maybe I should've worn a belt with this dress lol.
Oh the fun and laughter we had . . .thanks to Jenny.

Now, when you think "tea party" it may not sound so fun, but if you can be organized and creative, it'll turn out absolutely better than you expected.

It's Friday, Friday...

Wow, this is my first blog here and I'm pretty excited although I'm not the best writer...no kidding. Hopefully I'll learn something from blogging:)

Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Sandra Her and I am 23 years old. I currently reside in St. Paul, MN and am a student and student worker at Century College. I am majoring in Business Administration, and I don't have a specific career in mind as of right now. I have decided to patiently explore the business world and see where my skills and interests will take me. I have thought about a major in fashion or art, but sadly I don't see a future in that field for me. Or it could just be my cowardly gut feelings that has held me back from my passion. IDK. All I know is that I might regret it one day, and it scares me sometimes.

I've been enjoying Minnesota's beautiful weather the past few days with colorful pieces of clothing. It's only in a long while that such nice weather would last here, which is why it's so exciting to pull out my summer wardrobe and wear as many outfits as possible! Last year, it practically snowed throughout most of our summer. I guess you can call it bi-polar weather, but it's also the reason why I love Minnesota because you can enjoy every season: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Best of all, I get to mix my wardrobe from different styles and colors accordingly.

Wish me luck on this blogging thingy!

*Next Blog: I'm attending a formal fundraiser event tonight 6/1/12, so I'll update on how it goes!
